FAQ

Adjustable Screw Jack — Frequently Asked

What is the difference between a base jack and a U head jack?

A base jack sits at the bottom of a standard or prop with a flat base plate to level and transfer load to the ground. A U head jack sits at the top with a U-shaped channel that holds timber beams or ledgers. We supply both types.

Are the screw jacks hot-dip galvanized?

Yes. They are available in hot-dip galvanized or painted finish; galvanized is recommended for outdoor and long-term use.

Do you offer OEM and custom sizes?

Yes. Adjustable length, rod diameter, base-plate size, solid or hollow rod and OEM branding are all available.
